Paris

This week I’ll talk about the City that many people would love to visit the most, Paris. When we talk about Paris, I think we definitely think about Eiffel tower, the global icon of France. That’s why the first place I decided to visit is that legendary Tower. I took a tour to visit the Eiffel Tower and Seine River. It was like heaven to stand in the Tower and look down the whole City. The tour was not over yet since I had an hour spending in the cruise in Seine River. The cruise was gorgeous and they served alcohol. I can’t describe the feeling of a little alcohol and being on the gorgeous cruise. It was amazing. The tour finished in the Moulin Rouge. I enjoyed the Can-Can dance which I think was very cultural in Paris. The next day, I went to Louvre Museum. They had a lot royal jewelry painting and sculpture. It is marvelous and bigger than what I imagined in mind. The most impressive piece was The Mona Lisa painting from Leonardo da Vinci. They said that the woman in the picture has 2 different sides of face. Half of her face is smiling and another half is crying. I think it was the masterpiece of the history painting in the world. Paris is known as well as a heaven place for shopping. Each morning I am there in Paris, I went out for espresso coffee and pastry. They have all kind of pastry that is so wonderful with a cup of espresso. I went to Couture Walk and it was absolutely stunning. They have all the famous brands. I just satisfied by looking since I couldn’t afford them. I bought a perfume for Mom since they are famous in perfume too. It was a very memorable, romantic, fancy, and gorgeous City that I would recommend you to visit if having a chance.

Venice

At 8 am, the train stopped and woke me up. Finally, there it was the most beautiful, marvelous, and romantic place that I used to dream to visit. Venice is truly the city of art. It amazed me how a beautiful City like this could be floating on water.  As I was pulling my luggage toward my hotel, I passed by St. Mark’s Basilica. It looked more majestic and ancient than what I thought. As the sun setting, we were heading out for dinner at a beautiful restaurant right next to the canal. I had the best spaghetti seafood dish ever. No wonder spaghetti is originally from Italy. The seafood was so fresh and the sauce was very distinct and special. As I enjoyed my dinner, the Gondola passed by. I think it was very traditional of Venice. We decided to take a Gondola tour around the City after dinner. It was the most romantic boat tour that I had ever in my life. Everything was perfect: the beautiful view of the city on water, the singing, the Gondola.  I spent my last day in Venice taking the ghost walking tour. Venice is the place of romantic and ghosts of the past. I was told about all the stories from the past about ghosts in Venice. It was quite interesting and to know that each little place will have its own story about ghosts. One more thing I’d recommend to you is that pizza. Pizza in Venice is the best, trust me. I was In Venice for only three days, but I enjoyed every minute of it and took a lot of pictures for memories. Venice is just like a heaven. Experience yourself!

Singapore

Singapore is like the United States in Southeast Asia. Although, the area of the country is only 268 square miles, the country has been known as one of the most developing countries in Asia. However, the population in this country is continuously increasing. In 2011, it’s shown that the population is 5,183,700 of whom 3,527,000 are citizens. Singapore has virtually no natural resources since it’s a small island. Therefore, raw materials must be imported from outside the country. Nowadays, many people want to go to Singapore to live and work because of the benefits from the government. It’s shown that 40% of Singapore residents are foreigners and this number is still increasing. There are a lot of interesting things in Singapore that I have experienced I’ve visited there many times. Most people live in apartments since there’s not a lot of space for houses.  It’s also a heavenly place for shopping. You can find everything in Singapore. Singapore is a multicultural country just like United States. People speak Chinese, Malay, Tamil, and of course English, so don’t worry about the communication when visiting the country. Singapore is the most clean and fresh country in Asia that I’ve ever visited.  Food in Singapore is great since you can enjoy a lot of different cultures.  They have subways, buses, train and of course their transportation is the best. People usually take subway to work or school in the rush hours since it’s the fastest way to go. I was very impressed by the Merlion, mascot of Singapore. There are a lot of places to visit like: Jurong Bird Park, Underwater world, Singapore zoo, Casino. I love travelling and Singapore is the 1st choice I recommend for you to visit in Asian. Would you like to check out Singapore?
